Strike and Robin Timelines updated after the re-read of The Hallmarked Man

Last January, I did a quick update of the Strike and Robin Pre- and Inter-book Timelines I have maintained for several years. Now that I am nearly done with The Hallmarked Man Real-time re-read, I have again updated both documents.

The new Strike timeline is available here.

The new Robin timeline is available here.

Along with those I have a new timeline of Charlotte Campbell's life pre-Cuckoo's Calling. set up as a blog post.

As always, the best resource about important events in the characters' lives that happen during the books is found in the timelines maintained by Strikefans.com.

A couple of notes:  There are many more details about Strike's earlier life than Robin's. and, accordingly, many more glitches or inconsistencies, which are noted in red.  One major difficulty as we try to predict what will happen in future books is the inconsistent picture we get of some of the most important events in Strike's life. Some of the more obvious:

Despite the importance of his time in the Norfolk commune, we still don't know exactly when he and Lucy were there. Early in the series he was said to be eight; in The Running Grave he was said to be 12, but he also gave a year of 1985, when he was 10 for eleven of twelve months.  Given the likelihood of Leda's murder being solved in one of the next two books, it is disturbing that the date of her death, and that of the birth of young Switch LaVey Bloom Whittaker also seemed to have been moved since the start of the series, with Switch's birth coming later and Leda's death earlier. The precise date of Whittaker's trial could also be important if, as I have speculated, the records of Shanker's testimony might be used to allow either the police or organized crime figures to identify him as Strike's informant.

The timelines are evolving documents; I welcome suggestions for other dates to include and corrections of any errors I have made.

Enjoy!
